Hi, we’re Pixels Diary
Pixels Diary is a hand-curated discovery hub for mods and custom content for cozy life-sim games, starting with Paralives and The Sims 4. Think of us as the friend who already spent a whole evening scrolling so you don’t have to.
Why this site exists
Finding beautiful custom content usually means digging through forums, expired links, and download pages that haven’t changed since 2009. We love these games, and we think their players deserve something gentler: a bright, calm place where every mod has been looked at by a person, described in plain language, and linked straight to the creator who made it.
Paralives holds a special place here. It’s a young game with a young modding scene, and we’re documenting that scene as it grows, patch by patch.
Our promise
- Curated by hand. A real person picked every item on this site because it’s lovely and it works. No scraped lists, no filler.
- Credited, always. Creators are named on every listing, and we link only to their official pages.
- Honest links. We send you to the creator’s own page to download. We never host files, repackage anyone’s work, or claim we scanned anything.
- Beginner-safe. Plain language everywhere. If a term like “script mod” shows up, we explain it the first time.
- Kept fresh. Listings carry a “last verified” date, and we re-check links after game updates.
For creators: how featuring works
Everything on Pixels Diary exists because someone made a beautiful thing and shared it. When we feature your work, we name you, describe what makes the piece special in our own words, and point every button at your official page, whether that’s Patreon, Tumblr, itch.io, or the Steam Workshop.
